The Board of Finance is the chief financial authority of the Town. The Board of Finance is responsible for:
  1. preparation of the budget for the following fiscal year,
  2. the management and monitoring of the budget for the current fiscal year, and
  3. the development of long-range financial planning for the Town.
The Board of Finance consists of six members elected to four year terms and serving without compensation. At present, the board normally meets on the second Tuesday of each month, at 7:00 p.m., at the Town Office Building.
